The Girls’ Ministry at Iglesia Evangélica Pentecostal is dedicated to guiding young girls to become confident, faith-filled daughters of God — in their homes, school, church, and community. Through engaging fellowship, scripture-rooted teaching, and meaningful mentorship, we walk together so each one may discover her worth, gifts, and calling in Christ.
The National Girls Ministry began within the Assemblies of God in 1955 through a discipleship program for girls and leaders, built on a biblical mentoring strategy. Its foundation is found in Titus 2:3–5, where Paul instructs the church that the older generation should be an example for the younger generation.
In 2007, the vision to train the next generation expanded in order to provide additional resources for the local church based on this same strategy. This marked the birth of the National Girls Ministry.
The Girls Ministry is a discipleship ministry centered on the mentoring model of Titus 2:3–5. Its goal is to lead girls to Christ, provide them with mentors who guide their spiritual development, and encourage them to follow Jesus.
It is essential to teach girls the importance of sharing the gospel, helping them develop a lifestyle characterized by prayer, surrender, and responding to God’s personal call to go and serve others. The ministry also helps them gain a deeper understanding of missions and develop a compassionate heart for those around the world who do not yet know Jesus.
Participation in the Girls Ministry is an opportunity to experience the Great Commission—speaking to friends about Jesus, inviting them to church, winning girls for Christ, and teaching them to live in victory. It is a call to share the gospel: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Vision: A generation of girls who know they are loved by Jesus, grounded in the Word, and walking with purpose in God’s Kingdom. Mission: To equip, encourage and empower girls through Bible study, community, service and sisterhood — nurturing hearts, minds and lives so that they flourish in Christ.
